Actually Palmreader.com had an online scanner in 1997 that would scan the hand off your monitor. It is still in archive.org but not working (the cgi is no longer existing). There is a trick to reading electromagnetics it seems. It worked but owner developed the onlinetv.com business. Additionally new equipment for security by Homeland Security is called palmreader and, reads the palm for identification. This is a one word domain registered to one guy since 1995
