Silver, Berkens, Gilmour and 2008 Predictions

Was interesting listening to three of the smartest domainers alive and authors of my favoriter daily reads, on Webmasterr Radio, all at a loss to understand what happened in 2008.

Seems we got most of it right in this repost of a December 2007 Frager Factor gem:

Owen's 2008 Predictions

1. The economy will crash and we will experience a full-scale depression. Those living the good life mortgaged up to the hilt with no savings, will be begging for food. Working in corporations and out of touch with technology and digital skill, they will be totally unable to earn a living. A wake up call that without the title and the corporate politics to play, they have little value to society.

2. UFOs will emerge from the stealth mode (there is already greasing of the runway for this by the military and political leaders that are starting to talk. That signals they know what's coming.

We may solve the mystery of life- how we got here and where we go next. I believe these aliens of superior intelligence are probably not from any distant planet but living right here on earth, undiscovered yet in plain sight. They could be the bosses and all life as we know it is simply a farming process of theirs, to breed and challenge and identify those useful for admittance to their world-- which probably looks like the world you've always hoped for. Where sickness and death ... money and greed... don't exist and you reunite with a select group of people you thought deceased. Connecting the dots, it all makes sense. Unfortunately, those with the wrong values will suffer greatly as the bosses will no longer be passive. They will overthrow the governments, turn off the power, water and oil and leave the majority of mankind to the original settings of the world they arrived in.

3. Facebook, Yahoo, AOL, NBC, Fox, CBS, GM, Ford, McDonalds, Starbucks, Donald Trump and more will fail and close. Google stock will drop drastically as advertisers demand value. PPC feeds will pay squat and the larger private domain portfolios will be worthless making the owners finally wake up to the fact and regret all those years of neglecting to mine the most valuable assets... all gone and forgotten now. Aliens may drain their bank accounts and they will have to survive in a world without the money, type-in domains and wannabes who feed their egos. A world which is not the world they created in their mind: where domains are the center of the universe.

btw, I'd watch my back for those UFOs.
