Cius (.com) -- Frank Schilling Strikes Again and Blogs Again

Schilling strikes again as Forbes reports that Cisco unveils Cius. an Pad like device that does HighDef video calls! -- look who owns cius.com -- (aka SEE US as in Apple FaceTime)

Cisco's chief executive John Chambers has long been obsessed with video-conferencing as a way for the company to accelerate demand for costly bandwidth and return to its stellar pre-recession growth. They recently bought Flip, the breakthrough camera that a facsimile thereof has now been built into the iPhone for one less device to carry. With Cuis, they strike back (although they still collect $30 from every iPhone deal for licensing the name... remember this FRANK.)

The Cius will be available in the first quarter of 2011, and is designed to let users access business apps like Cisco's Webex and Telepresence videoconferencing. The 1.15 lb device will have Wifi, 3G, and both a front- and rear-facing camera. The one that faces forward will allow 30 frames a second of 720p HD video for face to face calls. The tablet will also have an optional dock that includes a traditional phone and USB ports.

The biggest sales in domains, like iReport.com, come from when the market creates demand and needs the domainer, not the other way around which is why selling names to end users is a crap shoot. All you can do is be proactive with the best value proposition you can muster.

No doubt this is why Frank is rebranded as DomainNameSales.com and is blogging again. Way to go Frank!
