domainFEST: People Just Hearing .Mobi Is Worthless

via Enrico Schaefer doing yeoman's work live blogging from domainFEST "people with .mobi domains just heard their domains are virtually worthless..." #domainfest

Just goes to show that we DO publish content of value- telling you that FIVE years ago! But you can wait five years till a company is on the verge of bankruptcy, travel half way around the world and plop down a couple of grand to hear it if it makes you feel any better.

Just as we warned you of a "fest in distress" underattended and over-hyped with speakers I never heard of and the main attractions for you to go (Moniker/Snap) sold out from under you without warning before you bought a ticket. Co-Presidents aka. "you get rid of the assets and I'll can the folks." Of course, who told you all this was coming way ahead of anyone else?

Do I hear T.R.A.F.F.I.C reclaiming its rightful place on earth?

Of course, there is still a second life for .MOBI as a home/delivery "carvertising" brand. We discussed that HERE and now that CityCar (rebranded "Hiriko") is REAL (something I knew was coming as early as i did the iPhone which drove my forewarnings about .Mobi), it's not such a crazy idea.

Meanwhile- some memories of our contrarian but RIGHT dotMOBI reporting over 5 years!
