David Roche is president of Hotels.com which is part of the Expedia group.
Mr Roche started working in hotels as a jazz musician and after a decade of nomadic entrepreneurialism he came across Hotels.com and since then it has mushroomed to become an online booker of 150,000 hotels in 34 languages.
Speaking to Today business presenter Simon Jack on BBC, the entrepreneur explained how the company took control of the market using the internet. LISTEN
