Vaginal Hysterectomy (.com) and the "Gabriel" Factor

Who would even know enough about medicine to register a keyword like

Only someone who has had one or perhaps someone who had access to his Dad's "Physician Desk Reference" aka. PDR and blazed through hand regging all the terms that were still left :)

Which in Frank Schilling's case meant the rarest ones which is why he commands $10-20 on a keyword that Ian Andrew's first dabs keywords commanded only $5-10K. Sometimes Domain Success reminds me of the gamesmanship that you see in TV shows like survivor.

And example of that is when I wrote a caption for Merlin Kauffman's photo in my feature about him and right there starring me in the eye was a great keyword only someone who thinks and speaks it every day that is also a domainer would think of. That in mind, congratulations to Merlin Kauffman for

Boy we got this right. We can pick the stars, Frank
can pick the stars and the star domains. Mucho better.
April looks to be Domain Sales biggest month ever and with a full week to go, the "Gabriel" factor is becoming REAL clear. There are sales people, and there are great sales people. Guys and gals who can pick up the phone cut to the chase and close. If Gabriel succeeds in hiring 100 like minded other sales pros, I will need 25 posts to cover all the weekly sales. Just hope I can ever report one of mine among them (Jeff see my email to you marked "leads" which could be in spam)

The last days sales include many medical terms, when the whois gets changed it's likely we see the same buyer. Another great reason to list with Frank because when you have a guy like Gabriel at the helm he will not hang up the phone on just one sale but will ask what other medical names might you need and go for what is known in sales as "the package close."

Something Ian might be celebrating this morning. Or I could be hallucinating. Either way, great job guys (who live in the sun but never get of the office to feel it on their skin, unless Jeff has a Martini and a cell by the pool)!

And BTW, while I celebrate Jeff, he'd be first to admit lots of credit goes to the ace sales team already in place. I can personally attest to the fact that Wade and Andrew are some of the hardest working people I know in sales. Rest  assured they follow up even when the commission is too small for most others to bother. (Kauffman-great one) $10-20K  $5-10K Ian Andrew $5-10K $10-20K $3-5K $3-5K
