Save Me Premiers on NBC May 23.... but...

SaveMe is an upcoming American television comedy series starring Anne Heche as a woman who, after nearly choking to death on a sandwich, becomes a direct pipeline to God. NBC placed a 13-episode series order in May 2012.It is set to premiere on Thursday, May 23 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/9:00 p.m. Central.

Knowing what / who they are up against, I doubt NBC even tried to acquire SaveMe.com. So for now the promos will air on TV and only Google power users like me will know how to find them at http://www.nbc.com/save-me/

Then when the show becomes a hit, they will just have to pay triple.
Thou Shalt Not Steal- Putting NBC In A Pickle

NBC should have learned that lesson with Today.com. They will pay for a "marquee name" like Ann Heche millions but for the real Marquee Name- they don't have a clue and it's 2013. No wonder why NBC is dying in last place (see our earlier post about the death of TV in general. The producers could have made a "smarter money" bet taking the show direct to domain and giving everyone rev share versus bygone Hollywood model salaries)
