Ron Jackson just released an eye-opening list of Domain Names Sales first six month 2014 reportable results, putting numbers to the names we've discussed here, HERE, here, HERE, here and HERE. Jamie did an excellent in-depth investigation revealing more details about the buyers we first revealed on these pages, and many we didn't.
Go back and look at those linked pages, most of the names that got activated into real profitable business were a bargain by comparison to advertising and branding traditionally, many selling under $45K and most selling under $10K. Example:
|Who says Frank Schilling's names are expensive. My x-employer Citrix |
stole this gem at just $16,000 for a product with $100 million revenues,
competing with Box a name that sold for $1 million!
August is slow for everyone and I'm sure Frank is as anxious to get business back on a roll in September as we all are when corporate end user decision makers are no longer distracted by such silly things as kids out of school and vacations!
