From Frank Schilling 2006: The Best Advice I Never Acted On

After all, it wasn't until 2 years later that I would learn that the guy behind the alias "Frankie" dispensing these words to me (who was beaming with excitement after my first TRAFFIC in Vegas after taking a six year nap) was actually Frank Schilling whom I knew nothing about. Perhaps this explains why I am so passionate about his accomplishments and why it's personal and emotional.

"6 years Owen. Look where we all are. Don't wait another day and stop looking for the Bogey-man. Start buying type-ins and high quality domains as the opportunities to do so cost-effectively arise.. I could just as easily say nothing and let you wallow in fear and doubt .. Consider this a wake-up call. The net and current ad models won't change much in the next decade. While its prudent to look for potential changes and guard yourself, I say "make hay while the sun shines" and don't worry so much about what probably won't happen.
In the last 3 years I have seen two or three "sales guys" who could not send an email come out of no-where and build repeat revenue domain portfolios. These people are no smarter than you or I and are just following the PPC blueprint.
In life there is the easy way and the hard way.. the dividing line between the two is often simply a matter of order.
I think Tony Montana said it best in Scarface: "In this country, first you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women". Or perhaps more to the discussion at hand: "First you get the type traffic names, then you get the money, then you build the websites that sell stuff and make deals."
The World is Yours, Owen. Take it."

The question is what advice was contained in the 17.061 posts that came before this. Stay tuned.
